instax™ film FAQs

To keep your snaps looking fresh and vibrant:

1. Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
2. Store them in an album or a cool, dry place.
3. Handle them gently, especially while the photo is still developing.

No need to shake your instax™ photos for them to develop. In fact, shaking instant photos while they develop can lead to unclear and patchy images. After taking your snap, let it sit somewhere shaded, keeping it flat until the image has fully developed.
If the film door of your instax™ camera/printer is opened when the film is in use (and the black protective sheet has been removed), it can result in the film being exposed to light. Once film has been exposed to light it is no longer usable.

In some instances, this only affects the first couple of film sheets in the cartridge, so try taking/printing a few more images as they may develop correctly.
